Migrants Top the Denver Food Chain… Literally
Denver’s migrant crisis is getting even more bleak, as a new report details how the city’s costs to feed illegal immigrants is skyrocketing – costing taxpayers over $1.4 million from December 2023 to June 2024 alone.
This illegal immigration crisis has already hit Denver hard:
- Hospitals are on the brink of collapse,
- School systems are overwhelmed,
- Budgets and services are seeing cuts,
- Residents are being pushed to open their homes,
- AND jobs are being taken from American citizens.
And Yadira Caraveo brought this crisis straight to Denver by rejecting tougher border security measures and pushing the Biden administration to defund ICE and CBP.
“Coloradans have literally become second-class citizens in their own community, thanks to Yadira Caraveo and her party’s open-border policies,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “For too long, Caraveo has put illegal immigrants before hardworking Colorado families, and voters won’t let her get away with it.”
