House Democrats vote against condemning antisemitism
Today, 118 House Democrats refused to vote for a resolution strongly condemning and denouncing the drastic rise of antisemitism in the United States and around the world.
*Pretends to be shocked*
House Democrats have shown their true colors repeatedly, since the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th that killed at least 1,400 people.
- They wouldn’t even condemn an antisemitic protest at the DNC where Capitol Police were injured.
- And 15 House Democrats already voted against condemning Hamas terrorism.
- Many still won’t denounce the blatant antisemitism from their Dem colleagues or return their campaign cash.
- Dem Leader Hakeem Jeffries promised to stand behind the “Hamas Caucus.”
- Progressive Caucus leader Jayapal openly downplayed Hamas rape accusations.
- And unfortunately, there are many, many more examples.
“It really shouldn’t be this hard for House Democrats to condemn and denounce antisemitism,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella.
