Denver Migrant Crisis Update: Dems Defund Public Safety Resources
Denver announced more than $10 million in budget cuts to the police and fire departments to pay for the continued influx of illegal migrants to the city.
No wonder immigration is the top concern of Colorado voters. The migrant crisis has already cost Denver dearly:
- Hospitals are on the brink of collapse,
- School systems are overwhelmed,
- Budgets and services are seeing major cuts,
- Residents are being pushed to open their homes,
- Jobs are being taken from American citizens.
- And taxpayers are being forced to fund illegal immigrants’ food bills.
And this is all thanks to Yadira Caraveo, who continually rejects tougher border security measures and called on the Biden administration to defund ICE and CBP.
“Yadira Caraveo and her party’s far-left, open-borders agenda has left Denver completely devastated, and now Denver police and fire departments are being defunded – posing a direct threat to the safety of Colorado families,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Voters know the left is to blame for this migrant crisis, and they’ll send Yadira Caraveo packing because of it.”
