Caraveo Brought Defund-the-Police to Denver

It’s National Police Week, and while many will be honoring our brave law enforcement officers, we know one woman who can’t: Yadira Caraveo.

Caraveo has encouraged the policies that have brought the migrant crisis to Denver, which have forced the city to defund their police by 8.4 million dollars to pay for the continued influx of illegal migrants.

Yet, count Caraveo unconcerned with the impacts of the immigration crisis. In fact, as a state legislator, Caraveo backed anti-law enforcement legislation that multiple county officials say is so “dangerous” to Coloradans, they’re suing the state over it.

“Yadira Caraveo’s record is clear: she is no friend of law enforcement and her policies have brought ‘defund the police’ straight to Denver,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
