New Ad In TX-23 Details Gina Jones’ Tax Hypocrisy

Liberal Gina Jones opposes tax cuts for middle-class families, but was caught taking a big tax break on her D.C. home

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Caught,” in Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. The ad details Gina Jones’ hypocrisy on taxes. The ad will run on television in the San Antonio and El Paso media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district in English and Spanish.

“Liberal Gina Jones opposes middle-class tax cuts that save $2,000 a year for Texas families and supports a $32 trillion government takeover of health care that could raise tax rates nearly 20 percent,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Yet, Jones was caught taking a big tax break on her D.C. home where she worked as a bureaucrat. Gina Jones is wrong for Texas.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Texas’ 23rd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

And supports a $32 trillion government takeover of health care that could raise tax rates nearly 20 percent.

But Jones got caught taking a big tax break on her Washington, D.C. home…where she worked as a bureaucrat.

Liberal Gina Jones: D.C. tax breaks for her. Higher taxes for you.
