ICYMI: Congressional Leadership Fund Exceeds Super Saturday Goal, Making 431,516 Voter Contacts

CLF’s 4,000 volunteers surpass Super Saturday goal

WASHINGTON – In case you missed it, Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, announced it surpassed its goal of 400,000 targeted voter contacts during its third “Super Saturday,” contacting 431,516 voters in a single day. Outreach activities consisted of door-to-door canvassing and phone banking to engage and build relationships with voters in more than 30 field offices nationwide.

“In one day, CLF’s data-driven, hyper-targeted national field program contacted 431,516 voters in over 30 field offices across the country,” said Corry Bliss, CLF Executive Director. “Our unprecedented field program continues to demonstrate that it will be a major factor in defending the Republican majority this fall. As Election Day nears, CLF interns and volunteers will continue to build off of this enthusiasm, reaching key voters nationwide ahead of the midterm elections.”

This election cycle, CLF took the unprecedented step as a super PAC to implement a national field program focused on having ongoing conversations with voters about their top issues. Since February 2017 CLF has opened 34 field offices and made over 15 million voter contacts to date. Each office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
