Gil Cisneros talks a big game about “restoring accountability and transparency” to our government. Unfortunately, when it means he has to be the one to answer the tough questions … he can’t be bothered.
Outside the Capitol today, Cisneros was asked a seemingly simple question: should Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib be reprimanded in any way over their constant anti-Semitic outbursts?
And by the looks of it, you’d think he saw a ghost!
Instead of giving an answer, Cisneros turns and runs away. This places Cisneros squarely in line with the growing number of House Democrats who refuse to condemn any bigotry when it comes from within their caucus.
Talk about a profile in courage.
