REPORT: Engel Cozied Up to Anti-Law Enforcement Groups

In the state legislature, Kirsten Engel “spent years developing close relationships” with far-left groups pushing to defund the police, abolish ICE, and spread dangerous rhetoric like “#F***BorderPatrol,” according to a new report.

Kirsten Engel worked hand in hand with these groups:

• Collaborating on criminal-justice reform policies,
• Promoting their work in the legislature and among constituents,
• And even inviting one of the groups to “present at the Senate Democratic Caucus.”

This is par for the course for Kirsten Engel who has said explicitly she agrees with defunding the police and has out-right denied the existence of the border crisis.

“Kirsten Engel cozied up to defund-the-police, anti-border security activists working to make Arizona less safe, and she’d do the same in Congress,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole.
