Not better off

House Democrats are staking their chances in 2024 on the economy, as Joe Biden plans tomorrow to deliver an address to the nation touting Democrats’ “economic wins.”

Only problem? No one back home agrees the economy is getting better.

• A new poll out today says more Americans than at any point in the survey’s 37 year history think their finances are worse since Joe Biden became president.
• Meanwhile, another says 62% of Americans believe Democrats have accomplished little to improve the economy.

“Democrats want to pat themselves on the back, but no one back home is celebrating that the economy is worse off under Democrats’ failed leadership,” said CLF Communications Director Calvin Moore. “Democrats tanked the economy and it’ll continue to be a massive albatross around their necks.”
