Gluesenkamp Perez Tries to Rewrite History

Not long ago, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez was insisting that “nobody stays awake at night worrying about the southern border… that’s not what matters to people.”

But today, she’s trying to rewrite history by calling for Trump-era immigration policies and demanding Biden take executive action.

Gluesenkamp Perez was downplaying the border crisis for months, despite her constituents expressing their concerns. Now that it’s election year, she’s hoping to rewrite her record and make it seem like she’s cared about this issue all along.

Unfortunately for her, Gluesenkamp Perez only has herself to blame for this crisis after voting repeatedly against stronger (and popular) border security measures. We won’t forget and neither will her voters.
