Caraveo’s Murder Spike

According to a report from 9 News, “There have been 55 murders in Denver this year, 10% more than this time last year, which had the most murders in Denver since at least 1981.”

The Denver Police Department says the city is on pace to break the record for the most people murdered in a year, so it’s no wonder 57% of Coloradans say crime is an “extremely or very serious” problem.

And Yadira Caraveo’s soft on crime policies are to blame – she voted to weaken penalties for homicides and embolden criminals.

“Yadira Caraveo’s radical record on crime continues to put Coloradans in danger,” said CLF Press Secretary Cally Perkins. “Colorado families want a Congresswoman that fights to protect their communities, not violent criminals.”
