Blue States Use COVID Money to Pay for Illegal Immigration Crisis

Fox News Digital revealed that blue states grappling with Biden’s illegal immigration crisis are using COVID-19 relief money to support illegal immigrants.

Democrat governors and mayors earmarked more than $517 million, “which generally consisted of providing cash payments to individual illegal immigrants,” from the money they received from the American Rescue Plan that Joe Biden and Congressional Democrats passed in 2021.

Here’s where Democrats are using taxpayer money to support illegal immigration:

• Washington State – spent $340 million, giving more than 100,000 undocumented residents payments of $3,075 under the program.
• New Jersey – spent $60 million in cash payments to illegal immigrants.
• Illinois & Chicago – spent a combined $86.5 million, sending cash transfers to households not eligible to receive payments due to immigration status.
• Denver – spent $3 million to provide cash to illegal immigrants.
• Boston – spent $1 million to give cash to illegal immigrants.
• Washington, D.C. – allocated $26 million in cash payments to illegal immigrants.

Meanwhile, blue cities and states are overrun with illegal immigrants, as migrant encounters at our southern border skyrocket – leading to crime waves and rises in fentanyl smuggling and overdoses.

And 93% of Americans see the situation at the border as a problem. Unfortunately, House Democrats are largely ignoring this crisis and voted against securing the border and other border security measures.

“Republicans warned that Democrats’ COVID-19 stimulus was a blue-state bailout. Astonishingly, it’s even worse: Democrat leaders are using taxpayer money to bailout their disastrous illegal immigration crisis,” said CLF Communications Director Courtney Parella. “Enough is enough.
