Quist caught flip-flopping…again
Montana’s out-of-touch candidate Rob Quist continues to change his tune on the issues that matter most to Montanans–proving he will say or do anything to get elected.
The Great Falls Tribune noted Quist’s recent flip-flop on supporting a gun registry. Quist hasn’t exactly presented himself as a staunch supporter of 2nd Amendment rights – after all, it was Quist who said “you register your car to drive, why not register guns…”
Now, Quist is backtracking that comment, take a look for yourself below…
Early this year Quist told the Bozeman Daily Chronicle he believes that legislation to register assault rifles should be considered, similar to registering cars. But Quist has since changed his stance, saying he supports the regulations currently in place. (Peter Johnson, “Gianforte Wants To Help All Montanans Prosper,” Great Falls Tribune, 3/31/17)
Quist changed his stance on universal health care just a few weeks ago as well. How can Montanans trust Quist to be a strong, independent voice in Congress if his views change in whatever direction the political winds are blowing?
