More Border Security Lies From Gabe Vasquez
Anti-border security extremist Gabe Vasquez just blatantly lied at a press conference, saying that President Trump’s recent Executive Orders on immigration “will hurt every aspect of our economy and our society.”
But earlier today, Fox News reported that thanks to Trump’s new actions on immigration, ICE Boston made eight arrests, “including multiple MS-13, Interpol Red Notices, murder and rape suspects, and a volatile Haitian gang member with 18 convictions in recent years who told our cameras that he ‘ain’t going back to Haiti’ and ‘f— Trump, Biden forever!’”
Vasquez also claimed in the press conference that he’s going to work to “secure our border, grow our economy, and build an immigration system that reflects the best of who we are as Americans.” But we’ve heard that promise from him before, and here’s the truth – Vasquez’s record proves he has zero interest in border security:
- He’s repeatedly voted AGAINST bipartisan border security measures (including yesterday!)
- He called the border wall “racist.”
- And he even advocated for defunding ICE and CBP.
“It’s a new Congress, but it’s the same old Gabe Vasquez,” said CLF Regional Press Secretary Maureen O’Toole. “Vasquez has proven that he has no intent to secure the border, and New Mexicans will see right through his lies.”
