Two and a half years after the passage of President Obama’s healthcare overhaul, former Congresswoman Carol Shea-Porter said yesterday that “people are now understanding [Obamacare] better” and “we are already seeing the benefits…” We are?
Here are just some of the newly-found problems New Hampshirites are having to cope with as a result of the Pelosi-Shea-Porter healthcare law:
- More than $2 Billion cut from New Hampshire seniors’ Medicare, according to a new University of Minnesota study.
- Even higher healthcare costs for families & businesses, according to the Kaiser Family Foundation.
Even though New Hampshire has already rejected Obamacare twice (SB 148 & HB 601), Carol Shea-Porter has turned a deaf ear to 1st District voters, refusing to break her loyalty to Pelosi’s partisan agenda.
While disappointing, it should come as no surprise that Shea-Porter puts Pelosi and Democrat Leadership’s interests over those in New Hampshire. Remember, she thinks they’re “100% right.”
