Who’s afraid of their big, bad base?

Democrats are terrified of their unhinged, far-left base.

That’s why Rep. Jahana Hayes said she regrets voting for the Laken Riley Act. Named after Laken Riley who was brutally murdered by an illegal criminal, the bipartisan bill  requires illegal aliens who commit crimes to be detained. 

(Remember: Democrats refused to stand for Laken’s family during President Donald Trump’s address to a joint session of Congress.)

It’s also why Reps. Vicente Gonzalez and Don Davis flip flopped on the SAVE Act, an uncontroversial measure that would require proof of citizenship to vote in federal elections.

House Democrat Leader Hakeem Jeffries is way out of his league, with zero control over his party.
