The fight over Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget has led to the first TV ad from a conservative super PAC for the 2014 elections.

The Congressional Leadership Fund released ads Friday targeting freshmen Democratic Reps. Sean Patrick Maloney of New York and Joe Garcia of Florida, who represent districts previously held by Republicans. The ads will run on cable shows targeting women and will be paired with a similar Internet campaign.

The identical commercials come a day after the House narrowly passed the Ryan budget outline to reduce the deficit and revamp the Medicare system over the next 10 years. Maloney and Garcia were among the 197 Democrats to vote against the Ryan budget.

“House Democrats refused to support balancing Washington’s budget even though families have to every month,” said Dan Conston, communications director for the Congressional Leadership Fund. “American moms deserve to know why Democrats think Washington shouldn’t live by the same rules.”

The leadership fund is part of the non-profit American Action Network, run by former Minnesota senator Norm Coleman.
