Quist: Say one thing, do another
Another day of Lyin’ Rob Quist saying one thing, then doing another…
Although Quist frequently discusses hunting and fishing as a way a life in Montana on the campaign trail, the Billings-Gazette reported that Quist “hasn’t had a hunting or fishing license for at least the last 16 years.”
SHOT: QUIST ON HUNTING AND FISHING: “But, real Montanans would say, ‘This is our life. Hiking in the Missions or hunting elk in the Cabinets or pheasants at Daniels County or fishing the Yellowstone or the Big Hole.’” (“Butte quist tracking 3 11 17,” Democrat Tracking YouTube, 4/24/17, 5:00 minute mark)
CHASER: “Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks records show that Democrat Rob Quist hasn’t had a hunting or fishing license for at least 16 years. Electronic records of hunting and fishing licenses begin in 2002. Republican Greg Gianforte has had multiple fishing and hunting licenses during the same period.” (Tom Lutey, “Hunting records of U.S. House candidates released”, Billings-Gazette, 4/26/17)
It’s clear that “Montanans’ way of life” is simply another talking point for Lyin’ Rob Quist in hopes of misleading voters. This should be no surprise, Quist is quickly earning a reputation for lying – whether it’s on key issues like gun rights or for his trail of unpaid personal bills.
