Poll: John Barrow Faces “Mounting Danger” from Obamacare

Congressman John Barrow’s week is already off to a rough start with news of “mounting danger” for him in GA-12. New POLITICO polling of competitive districts, which included GA-12, shows an ominous political forecast for Democrats like John Barrow, who has refused to repeal Obamacare.

Here are a few top lines from the poll:

•    Nearly 9 in 10 respondents say Obamacare is important in determining their vote, including 49% who cite the law as “very important.”

•    Nearly half (48%) favor repealing Obamacare, while 35% support modifications and 16% support the law as is.

•    Voters favor the Republican candidate over the Democratic candidate by 7 points, 41% to 34%.

Georgia families who are enduring Obamacare’s broken promises, higher costs and fewer choices know firsthand what John Barrow refuses to accept: the law simply doesn’t work. But come November, John Barrow will be held responsible for his partisan record of voting to keep Obamacare the law of the land at the expense of Georgia families.

The Bottom Line:
John Barrow’s record of refusing to repeal Obamacare is turning into an albatross as he faces voters hurt by the law’s broken promises. Try as he may to have it both ways on Obamacare, John Barrow cannot run from the growing referendum on Democrats who’ve forced this costly, unworkable law on hard-working families.
