Over 60 House Republican Members Attending

Congressional Leadership Fund Super-PAC Event

November 2 Event Includes Broad Support from House Republican Conference

Washington, D.C. – The Congressional Leadership Fund, a super-PAC, announced that over fifty (50) members of the House Republican Conference will join special invited guests, Speaker John Boehner (R-OH), House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA); House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA); National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX), Chief Deputy Majority Whip Peter Roskam (R-IL); and Congressman Greg Walden (R-OR), Chairman, House Republican Leadership and Deputy Chairman, National Republican Congressional Committee at its inaugural event on Wednesday, November 2 from 5:30-7:00 P.M. at the Capitol Hill Club in Washington, D.C.

“The Congressional Leadership Fund super-Pac represents a fundamental and profound investment in America’s future,” said Norm Coleman. “With more than 60 members of the House GOP Conference attending our inaugural event, we’re sending a message to the political left and the liberal special interest groups that we intend to fight for the American people. We will raise the resources necessary to ensure that we maintain a GOP House that will reject the big spending, big taxing, big government ideology that has undermined our nation’s economy.”

“It is a true privilege to have Speaker Boehner, Leader Cantor and so many friends in the House Republican Conference attend this special event,” stated Fred Malek, member of the Congressional Leadership Fund’s board of directors.

“The Congressional Leadership Fund is committed to our House Republican Conference and we are honored that so many members will join us to make at this event success,” stated Brian Walsh, President of the Congressional Leadership Fund.

The Congressional Leadership Fund is an independent expenditure PAC that will support candidates who promote the values of the center right majority in the House of Representatives.   The Fund will counter efforts on the left including the House Majority PAC, unions and the ACORN style groups.   This is an independent expenditure fund focused solely and exclusively on maintaining the majority in the House of Representatives.
