We told you last week that the Congressional Leadership Fund – that’s the SuperPAC of American Action Network – was reserving roughly $1 million in broadcast television and digital ads in the Chicago area market for the remainder of the election cycle, opposing Deerfield Democrat Brad Schneider in the 10th Congressional District race against Kenilworth Republican Bob Dold. The buy came at the same time, Democratic sources tell us, the NRCC cancelled a buy in the same amount.
That CLF ad, “Income,” is centered around Schneider’s decision not to release his tax returns.
“Brad Schneider: Hiding his taxes, while trying to raise yours,” a voiceover reads.
