New Ads In NY-22: Anthony Brindisi’s Tax And Spend Agenda Rips Off Upstate Taxpayers

Anthony Brindisi rubber-stamped Governor Cuomo’s liberal agenda, ripping off New York taxpayers in the process

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released two new ads in New York’s 22nd Congressional District.

One ad, “Alarm,” features Jason, an EMS worker in Upstate New York, discussing how Anthony Brindisi and Governor Cuomo fleeced Upstate New York taxpayers. Another ad, “Albany,” highlights Anthony Brindisi’s record as a rubber stamp for Governor Cuomo’s wasteful, liberal agenda.

“Anthony Brindisi has spent years rubber-stamping Governor Cuomo’s liberal agenda in Albany, putting Cuomo’s interests over Upstate taxpayers’,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Brindisi fleeced Upstate taxpayers in Albany, he would do the same in D.C.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
