New Ad In WA-08: Kim Schrier Is Taxing

Schrier supports an energy tax, a new state income tax, and wants to raise the gas tax

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Solid,” in Washington’s 8th Congressional District. The ad details Kim Schrier’s support for higher taxes. The ad will run on television in the Seattle media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Kim Schrier supports an energy tax that would raise utility bills and supports raising the gas tax,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Even worse, Schrier supports a new state income tax and a big government spending scheme that could double federal income taxes. Washington families can’t afford Kim Schrier in Congress.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Washington’s 8th Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
