New Ad In OH-01 Details Scandal Surrounding Aftab Pureval
The Cincinnati Enquirer obtained secret Pureval documents that suggest he broke the law
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Secret Poll,” in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. The ad details the scandal surrounding Aftab Pureval. The ad will run on television in the Cincinnati media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Aftab Pureval is under investigation for allegedly taking $30,000 of campaign cash for personal use and then trying to cover it up,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Now, documents suggest Pureval broke the law, and these serious and troubling allegations could land him in jail – Ohio families deserve better.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
