New Ad In NE-02 Details Kara Eastman’s Extreme Health Care Plan

Eastman’s government takeover of health care would cost $32 trillion, nearly double the debt, and raise taxes on middle-class families

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Government Takeover,” in Nebraska’s 2^nd Congressional District. The ad details Kara Eastman’s extreme health care plan. The ad will run on television in the Omaha media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Kara Eastman supports a thirty-two-trillion-dollar government takeover of health care that eliminates employer provided insurance, making Nebraska families dependent on government,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Even worse, Eastman’s radical plan would nearly double the debt and raise middle-class taxes. Behind Kara Eastman’s liberal health care plan is a big price tag that Nebraska families can’t afford.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Nebraska’s 2^nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
