New Ad In MN-03 Highlights Dean Phillips’ Shady Business Record
Dishonest Dean Phillips’ shady business record proves he is a hypocrite running for Congress to help himself, not Minnesotans
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Laid Off,” in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. The ad highlights Dean Phillips’ shady business record. The ad will run on television in the Minneapolis media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Hypocrite Dean Phillips calls health care a ‘moral right,’ but was caught not offering health care to his own employees,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Phillips’ companies have laid off hundreds of workers and faced accusations of sexual harassment and discrimination. He even served as head of a health care company that tried to cut nurses’ health and pension benefits – Dean Phillips is in it for himself, not Minnesotans.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Minnesota’s 3rd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
