New Ad In ME-02: Jared Golden’s Tax And Spend Agenda Is Too Liberal For Maine
Golden’s agenda of bigger government and higher taxes is too liberal for hardworking Mainers
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Too Liberal,” in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad highlights Jared Golden’s far-left liberal agenda of bigger government and higher taxes on hardworking Mainers. The ad will run on television in the Bangor and Presque Isle media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Jared Golden is a liberal Augusta politician who has never met a tax increase he didn’t like,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Golden supports a government takeover of health care that would raise tax rates nearly 20 percent, but opposed a tax cut for Maine’s middle-class families. Mainers deserve better than tax and spend liberal Jared Golden.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
