Golden would side with Nancy Pelosi to raise taxes on hardworking Maine families
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Patti,” in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad details how Jared Golden would vote in lockstep with Nancy Pelosi to raise taxes on hardworking Maine families. The ad will run on television in the Bangor and Presque Isle media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Jared Golden wants to give Nancy Pelosi another vote in Congress so they can raise taxes on hardworking Maine families,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Like Pelosi, Jared Golden opposes a $2,000 tax cut for Maine families and he even supports a $32 trillion government takeover of health care that would raise tax rates by nearly 20 percent. Jared Golden sides with Nancy Pelosi, not Maine families.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
