New Ad In ME-02 Highlights Jared Golden’s Liberal Record Of Wasteful Handouts
Golden voted to let welfare recipients to use Mainers’ tax dollars to buy tattoos, tobacco, alcohol, and lottery tickets
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Jackpot,” in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. The ad highlights Jared Golden’s tax and spend record, detailing his repeated votes to raise taxes and support for wasteful liberal handouts. The ad will run on television in the Bangor and Presque Isle media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district.
“Jared Golden is another Pelosi Democrat who supports wasteful liberal handouts and higher taxes,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “In addition to voting repeatedly to raise taxes, he voted to allow welfare recipients to use tax dollars to buy tobacco and lottery tickets and even opposes a $2,000 tax cut for hardworking Maine families. Mainers cannot afford Jared Golden in Congress.”
In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

Golden voted repeatedly to raise taxes.
And voted to let welfare recipients use your tax dollars to buy tattoos, tobacco, alcohol – even lottery tickets.
