New Ad In IL-12 Details Brendan Kelly’s Liberal Agenda Of Higher Taxes

-Rep. Mike Bost cut taxes for middle-class families, saving them $2,200 a year
-Brendan Kelly supported a massive sales tax hike and joined Nancy Pelosi to oppose middle-class tax cuts

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “$2,200,” in Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. The ad contrasts Rep. Mike Bost’s efforts to cut taxes for middle-class families with Brendan Kelly’s liberal agenda of higher taxes. The ad will run on television in the St. Louis and Paducah media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Mike Bost cut middle-class taxes, saving Illinois families $2,200 a year,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “Brendan Kelly supported a massive sales tax hike that St. Clair County voters repealed and even joined Nancy Pelosi to oppose the middle-class tax cut. Illinois families can’t afford Brendan Kelly in Congress.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

VO: Mike Bost cut middle-class taxes, saving Illinois families twenty-two hundred dollars.

Now four million jobs have been created…

…and unemployment is at a fifty-year low.

Brendan Kelly would take us backward.

Kelly supported a massive sales tax hike that St. Clair County rejected…

…and Kelly joined Nancy Pelosi to oppose the middle-class tax cut.

Kelly. Pelosi.

Higher taxes. Lost jobs.
