New Ad In IL-12: Brendan Kelly Put Women And Children At Risk

On Kelly’s watch, over 50% of crimes were pled out and a pedophile walked free

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Police Chief,” in Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. The ad features a retired local police chief discussing Brendan Kelly’s record of being soft on crime. The ad will run on television in the St. Louis and Paducah media markets and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Brendan Kelly was soft on crime, pleading out over 50 percent of the crimes in his jurisdiction,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Even worse, Kelly cut a plea deal with a pedophile who sexually assaulted two 14-year old girls – allowing the predator to walk free. Brendan Kelly put Illinois women and children at risk.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in Illinois’ 12th Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
