New Ad In CA-45: Katie Porter Would Mean More Government, Higher Taxes

-Rep. Mimi Walters cut taxes, saving middle-class families $5,000 a year
-Katie Porter supports bigger government and higher taxes

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Grow,” in California’s 45th Congressional District. The ad contrasts Rep. Mimi Walters’ efforts to cut middle-class taxes with Katie Porter’s agenda of bigger government and higher taxes. The ad will air in the Los Angeles media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Mimi Walters cut taxes for middle-class families, saving them $5,000 a year and now unemployment is at a 50-year low,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Katie Porter would rubber-stamp Nancy Pelosi’s liberal agenda that includes $32 trillion in spending – almost doubling the national debt. Orange County families deserve better than Katie Porter’s big government agenda.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in California’s 45th Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

VO: Grow our economy or grow government?

That’s our choice.

Mimi Walters cut middle-class taxes…

…saving Orange County families five thousand dollars a year.

Now unemployment is at a fifty-year low…

Katie Porter wants to grow government and raise taxes.

Porter would rubber-stamp Pelosi’s liberal agenda.

Thirty-two trillion dollars of spending, almost doubling the debt.

Porter. Pelosi.

Bigger government. A weaker economy.
