New Ad In CA-45 Highlights Katie Porter’s Extreme Health Care Agenda

Katie Porter’s government takeover of health care would raise taxes and take away doctors

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Cynthia,” in California’s 45th Congressional District. The ad features Cynthia, a local mom from Irvine, CA, discussing how Katie Porter’s government takeover of health care is wrong for California families. The ad will air in the Los Angeles media market and on digital platforms throughout the district.

“Katie Porter’s extreme plan for a government takeover of health care would raise Californians’ taxes and take away their doctors,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “But even worse, Porter wants to eliminate employer-provided health insurance, making everyone dependent on the federal government. Katie Porter is out of touch with hardworking California families, they deserve better.”

In addition to the ad campaign, CLF previously opened a field office in California’s 45th Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.

CYNTHIA: As a wife and mom, I manage the health care decisions for my family.

That’s why I can’t support Katie Porter.

Porter’s government takeover of health care would nearly double the debt and raise taxes on middle-class families.

But here’s the worst part…

Katie Porter wants to eliminate employer-provided health insurance…

…Making everyone dependent on government.

Katie Porter will raise our taxes and take away our doctors.

Katie Porter is wrong for my family.
