Minnesota Democratic Congressional Candidates Remain Silent On Keith Ellison
After being called on to urge Keith Ellison to end his campaign, Minnesota Democratic congressional candidates remain silent
WASHINGTON – According to The New York Times and NBC News media reports, none of the four Minnesota Democratic congressional candidates targeted by Congressional Leadership Fund’s (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, latest ads have joined National Organization for Women in calling for Congressman Keith Ellison to end his campaign.
“The failure of these Democratic candidates to respond and stand with a victim of abuse is deeply disappointing,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Their silence proves they are out-of-touch with Minnesota families and their values. Minnesotans deserve better than out-of-touch politicians who choose political party over doing the right thing.”
Earlier this morning, CLF released ads urging Dan Feehan (MN-01), Angie Craig (MN-02), Dean Phillips (MN-03), and Joe Radinovich (MN-08) to join the National Organization for Women in calling for Congressman Keith Ellison to end his campaign. Since then, media reports have noted that these four candidates have remained silent on their support for Congressman Keith Ellison.
