Demolishing Records, CLF & AAN Post Best Q1 Fundraising Ever With $145 Million Raised for the Cycle
CLF Raises Over $37.5 Million, 7x First Quarter of 2020, and $93.5 Million Cash On Hand, 3x Previous Record
WASHINGTON — Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC endorsed by Leader Kevin McCarthy and House Republican Leadership, announced its record-breaking fundraising haul for the first quarter of 2022. CLF alone raised over $37.5 million and closed the books with more than $93.5 million cash on hand. CLF and AAN together have raised $145 million so far.
“CLF continues to obliterate every record, equipping us with the firepower to expand the map into Democrat territory,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “With a growing warchest and palpable voter enthusiasm, we are well-positioned to hold Democrats accountable for their disastrous agenda and elect a new Republican Majority in November.”
CLF’s staggering haul comes as the DCCC’s Sean Patrick Maloney told Punchbowl that CLF’s record-breaking fundraising was their biggest risk in the coming elections, and as CLF reports more than double House Majority PAC’s most recently disclosed cash on hand.
