Congressional Leadership Fund to Spend $500,000 Against Seth Moulton (MA-06)

WASHINGTON – The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC) today announced plans to spend $500,000 in Massachusetts’ 6th congressional district race against liberal partisan Seth Moulton. The independent expenditures will include Boston broadcast and cable TV advertising in late October.

“Seth Moulton is already following the John Tierney playbook of putting partisan politics ahead of Massachusetts’ working families,” said Emily Davis, spokeswoman for the Congressional Leadership Fund. “Massachusetts voters ready to change Washington know that they can count on the principled and proven leadership of Richard Tisei to represent their voices in Congress.”

CLF and its sister organization, the American Action Network (AAN), have announced a total of over $19 Million in independent expenditures in 20 congressional districts across the country. During the 2012 election cycle, independent expenditures of CLF and AAN were rated the #1 and #2 Highest “Return on Investment” of any conservative outside spenders.

The Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF) is the super PAC dedicated exclusively to preserving and expanding the Republican Majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. From 2011-2012, CLF raised a combined $55 million with its sister-organization, the American Action Network (AAN), a 501c4 primarily focused on advocating for center-right policy solutions. The super PAC’s board is chaired by former Senator and American Action Network Chairman Norm Coleman (R-MN) and includes Fred Malek and former NRCC Chairman Tom Reynolds (R-NY). CLF is an independent-expenditure super PAC that operates independently of any federal candidate or officeholder.
