Congressional Leadership Fund Issues Statement On CA-39 Congressional Primary

WASHINGTON – Following the results of the primary for California’s 39^th Congressional District, CLF Executive Director Corry Bliss issued the following statement congratulating Republican Young Kim on her victory:

“CLF was proud to partner with American Future Fund to ensure Young Kim secured a spot in the top two of California’s jungle primary. CLF’s efforts in the weeks ahead of the primary election played a major role ensuring Republicans turned out to vote, and we congratulate Young Kim on her victory.”

As the largest Republican spender in the race, CLF and AFF’s efforts included door knocking, phone banking, digital advertising, mail, and GOTV efforts to support Young Kim. In three California congressional primaries, AFF knocked on 400,000 targeted doors to drive Republican turnout and combat the massive Democratic spending advantage in each race.
