CLF’s New Ad In NY-22: Anthony Brindisi Would Be A Rubber Stamp For Pelosi’s Liberal Agenda

New ad highlights Brindisi’s tax and spend record, warning voters of what could happen if he is elected to Congress

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Tax and Spend,” in New York’s 22nd Congressional District. The ad highlights Anthony Brindisi’s tax and spend record as a reliable rubber stamp for Governor Andrew Cuomo and disgraced former Democratic Speaker Sheldon Silver’s liberal policies. The ad will run in the Binghamton and Utica media markets.

“For years, New York taxpayers have suffered from Anthony Brindisi’s record of raising taxes on Utica and liberal spending while he’s served as a rubber stamp for Governor Cuomo and disgraced Sheldon Silver’s liberal policies,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “In Congress, Brindisi would rubber stamp Nancy Pelosi’s extreme agenda of higher taxes and increased spending. Taxpayers in New York’s 22nd district simply can’t afford Anthony Brindisi in Congress.”

In addition to the television ad campaign, CLF opened a field office in New York’s 22nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
