Congressional Leadership Fund released the following statement on the election results in Texas’ 22nd Congressional District.
“Troy Nehls spent his entire career serving our country in the military and his community as the Fort Bend County’s top law enforcement officer,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “CLF pulled out all the stops to push him to victory, and I congratulate him on his win. I know Nehls will use his frontline experience to bring fresh ideas to Congress that will keep Americans safe.”
Congressional Leadership Fund spent more than $6.4 million in support of Troy Nehls and carried nearly all Republican TV advertising in the race. CLF also dedicated resources for a field and absentee ballot chase program in the district, and spent on mail and digital advertising in TX-22.
