CLF Statement on ME-02 Primary Results

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), the super PAC endorsed by Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republican Leadership, released the following statement on the primary election results in Maine’s Second Congressional District:

 “Congratulations to Trump-endorsed Paul LePage on winning the Republican primary,” said CLF President Chris Winkelman. “Paul gets it. As governor, he delivered the largest tax cut in state history, lowering costs for families. All Mainers need to know about Matt Dunlap is his endorsement of Nazi-lover and woman abuser Graham Platner. But it gets even worse: As auditor, Dunlap allowed state Medicaid dollars to be swindled away by Somali immigrants. Dunlap is absolutely unqualified to represent Mainers in Congress.”
