CLF Statement on House Republican Leadership Elections
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC) President Mike Shields issued the following statement on the House GOP leadership elections this afternoon, re-electing Speaker Paul Ryan, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, Majority Whip Steve Scalise, Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers, GOP Policy Committee Chairman Luke Messer, and electing NRCC Chair Steve Stivers.
“Congratulations to our strong, results-oriented House GOP leadership team led by Speaker Ryan and Leader McCarthy. We are excited to see the House Majority we helped elect work with this leadership team to bring conservative governing solutions to our country. Speaker Ryan’s bold policy agenda ‘A Better Way’ is the most detailed policy agenda ever offered as an election manifesto in the House, and creates the blueprint for the real change the American people voted for last week.”
