CLF To Spend An Additional $900,000 Against Steve Santarsiero
Brings Total Investment in PA-08 to $2.1 Million
The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced an additional $900,000 in Pennsylvania’s 8th congressional district race against tax-and-spend politician Steve Santarsiero. This addition brings CLF’s investment in the race to $2.1 million, which includes TV advertising in the Philadelphia media market and digital advertising starting October 25.
“Voters deserve to know the truth about Steve Santarsiero’s failed record as a Harrisburg politician before they head to the ballot box,” said Ruth Guerra, spokeswoman for CLF. “The truth is Santarsiero has proven to be another two-faced politician who raises taxes on others while fighting for tax breaks for himself.”
Last month, CLF announced an initial investment of nearly $1.2 million in PA-08. The additional $900,000 allocated to PA-08 is part of a second round of CLF spending. The super PAC’s total announced general election spending to date is $20.7 million across 15 congressional races.
