CLF To Spend $800,000 Against Democrat Jay Sidie

Independent Expenditure Includes TV and Digital Advertising

WASHINGTON -Today, the Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPac), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, announced plans to spend $800,000 in Kansas’ 3rd congressional district race between Congressman Kevin Yoder and Washington handpicked Democrat candidate Jay Sidie. The independent expenditure will include broadcast and cable TV and digital advertising in the Kansas City media market during the last two weeks of the campaign.

“Jay Sidie is an extreme liberal who has been handpicked by Washington insiders to represent their interests, not those of Kansas’ third district,” said CLF spokeswoman Ruth Guerra. “The last thing voters want is a liberal rubberstamp like Jay Sidie who vows to continue the failed Obama-Clinton agenda.”

CLF’s total announced general election spending to date is over $40 million in 32 districts nationwide. CLF and its sister organization, American Action Network, remain the single largest outside conservative spenders on the U.S. House.
