CLF Shatters Record With $130 Million Warchest For 2022 Midterms
AAN & CLF Have Raised A Combined $226 Million, Already More Than The Groups’ Prior Record For An Entire Cycle
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund, the super PAC endorsed by Leader Kevin McCarthy and all of House GOP Leadership, announced that it posted a new fundraising record for the second quarter of 2022. CLF heads into the fall with $130.4 million cash on hand, by far its best cash on-hand ever in the organization’s history at this point in the cycle. The sum was raised with a $43.5 million haul in the second quarter of 2022 and an additional $4 million raised in the additional four days from 7/1-7/4 that appear on the TX-34 post-general report due to the FEC today.
CLF and its sister advocacy organization American Action Network have raised a combined $226 million, which already surpasses the groups’ combined prior record for an entire cycle.
“We continue shattering records because Americans of every stripe are fed up with the direction Democrats have taken the country and are ready to change course,” said CLF President Dan Conston. “This is a significant down payment on what’s needed to win a new Republican Majority and put a check on the Biden Administration’s disastrous policies.”
