CLF Releases Statement on TX-34 Republican Primary Results

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (CLF), the super PAC endorsed by Speaker Mike Johnson and House Republican Leadership, released the following statement on the primary election results in Texas’ 34th Congressional District:

“Eric Flores is a proven leader. Between his military service and tenure as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Eric protects South Texas and keeps our communities safe,” said CLF President Chris Winkelman. “In contrast, Vicente Gonzalez consistently votes against working families, supported Joe Biden’s disastrous border and crime polices, and opposed Republicans’ historic tax cuts. South Texas deserves a proven leader like Eric Flores who will restore common sense—not more of the same failed policies from Vicente Gonzalez.”
