Katie Porter’s out-of-touch, liberal agenda would hurt California families

WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Liberal,” in California’s 45^th Congressional District. The ad highlights Katie Porter’s liberal agenda of raising taxes for middle-class families, her support for sanctuary cities, and her attacks on ICE – the enforcement agency that deports criminal illegal aliens. The ad will run in the Los Angeles media market.

“Liberal Katie Porter stands up for sanctuary cities while attacking ICE, refuses to support the repeal of the crippling Sacramento gas tax, and would raise taxes on middle-class families to fund a government takeover of health care,” said Courtney Alexander, CLF Communications Director. “Porter’s liberal policies represent members of the “Resistance” like Elizabeth Warren, not families in California’s 45^th district.”

This is CLF’s first television ad in California’s 45^th Congressional District. In addition to the ad campaign, CLF has opened a field office in California’s 45^th district. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
