CLF Releases First Television Ads, Announces Field Program in OH-12 Special Election

-Initial $250,000 buy will run simultaneously on broadcast and cable
-GOTV effort includes field office that will knock over 500,000 doors by Election Day

WASHINGTON – The Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today announced their first two television ads, “Monica” and “Burden,” airing in the special election in Ohio’s 12^th Congressional District. The ads are part of an initial $250,000 buy and will run simultaneously on broadcast and cable.

The two spots frame the race as a choice between Troy Balderson and his record of fighting for the issues that matter to Ohio families versus Danny O’Connor, an out of touch candidate who would put Nancy Pelosi’s agenda before Ohio’s.

One ad, “Monica,” features Monica Batteiger discussing the impact of the opioid epidemic on her family and highlights Balderson as a leader for Ohio families. “Burden,” features Ohio mother Jody White speaking about what the middle-class tax cut means for families like hers, and reminds Ohioans that Danny O’Connor would stand with Nancy Pelosi, who is vowing to increase middle-class taxes.

CLF has also launched a field program to support Troy Balderson. The field office in Franklin County will be the base of a district-wide phone and door-to-door GOTV effort which will result in over 500,000 doors knocked by Election Day in August.
