CLF Releases First Ad “Out of Tune” Against Rob Quist in $700,000 Campaign
Advertising on TV and Digital in Montana
WASHINGTON – On the heels of the Montana Democratic Party’s special nominating convention, the Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, released its first ad against extreme liberal candidate Rob Quist. The independent expenditure begins with the ad “Out of Tune,” casting Quist’s penchant for higher taxes, more spending, and military budget cuts as out-of-touch with Montanans.
“When it comes to the issues that matter most to Montanans, Rob Quist is tone-deaf,” said CLF Executive Director Corry Bliss. “Higher taxes, more spending, and doubling-down on government-run health care, Rob Quist is singing the same old liberal playbook. Democrats have lined up behind a candidate they know nothing about and we look forward to exposing Quist’s baggage over the next several weeks.”
The $700,000 ad campaign starts airing today on Montana broadcast and cable. A similar version of the ad will run on online platforms. Last week, CLF announced a $1.1 million campaign in Georgia’s special election race.
Script:
ANNCR: Rob Quist may be entertaining, but on the issues, he’s out of tune with Montana.
Quist supports a government health care plan even more expensive than Obamacare.
More government control.
Fewer health care choices.
Higher taxes and more spending.
And with terrorists on the march, Quist supports devastating cuts to America’s military budget.
Rob Quist: too liberal and out-of-touch for Montana.
