CLF Releases Ad In ME-02 Slamming Jared Golden’s Record Of Taxing Mainers
Jared Golden would take his tax and spend liberal record to Congress
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC), the super PAC endorsed by House Republican leadership, today released a new ad, “Imagine,” in Maine’s 2ndCongressional District. The ad details Jared Golden’s liberal record of voting repeatedly to raise Mainers’ taxes, including supporting higher income taxes, higher sales taxes, and even higher death taxes. The ad will run on television and digital platforms in the Bangor media market.
“Liberal politician Jared Golden has voted for higher income taxes, higher sales taxes, and even higher taxes on Mainers when they die,” said Michael Byerly, CLF spokesman. “If elected to Congress, Jared Golden would be a reliable vote for Nancy Pelosi’s extreme agenda of higher taxes, not Mainers.”
This is CLF’s first television ad in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. In addition to the ad campaign, CLF has opened a field office in Maine’s 2nd Congressional District. Each CLF field office is supported by a full-time staffer and hundreds of interns and volunteers who engage with voters on a daily basis through hyper-targeted phone banking and door-to-door canvassing.
