CLF Congratulates Elise Stefanik in New York’s 21st District Election
WASHINGTON – Congressional Leadership Fund (@CLFSuperPAC) President Mike Shields issued the following statement on tonight’s election results in New York’s 21st Congressional District. CLF spent nearly $450,000 in independent expenditures in the NY-21 race on TV advertising.
“Elise Stefanik has been an independent voice and fighter for the North Country during her first term – and she gets results. Elise has stood up for families and small businesses, including her work to repeal harmful Obamacare policies and reduce burdensome federal regulations. Elise has worked hard to deliver results to families across the 21st district, and her decisive victory tonight makes it clear that they value her hard work on their behalf.”
In 2016, Congressional Leadership Fund and its sister-organization American Action Network spent a combined nearly $48 Million on independent expenditures in U.S. House races.
Founded in 2011, Congressional Leadership Fund is the super PAC endorsed by House Republican Leadership and dedicated exclusively to preserving and expanding the Republican Majority in the U.S. House of Representatives. CLF is an independent-expenditure super PAC that operates independently of any federal candidate or officeholder.
